About Sandra Robertson

My Official Bio:

Sandra Robertson is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P), licensed to practice acupuncture and herbal medicine in B.C. with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA). She practices at Renew Health in the Royal Oak Shopping Center in Victoria, BC.

Sandra completed her 5-year doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Victoria, B.C., and has been in practice since 2008. She did a practicum at the Hunan University of Chinese Medicine clinical hospital in the city of Changsha in Hunan Province, China. There she focused on the treatment of women’s health and was also able to observe the paediatrics and stroke wards.

Sandra trained with Lillian Pearl Bridges who is the world’s leading authority on Face Reading and Facial Diagnosis and completed the Master Face Reading Certification Program. This allows her to see potential and current health conditions by assessing the different zones of the face. Personality traits and destiny are also revealed on the facial map; lifestyle recommendations relating to overall well-being are specific to what each individuals’ face reveals.

She welcomes children into her practice. She completed a 50-hour paediatric acupuncture certificate with Rebecca Avern, a paediatric acupuncturist with over 20 years of experience and the founder of the Hub of Paediatric Acupuncture (HOPA) She has also taken continuing education training with Julian Scott, the world’s most eminent Pediatric Acupuncture specialist, who has been treating children at his practice in the United Kingdom (UK) for over 40 years.

Sandra is skilled in treating all forms of pain conditions: neck pain, sciatica, pinched nerves, headaches, sports injuries, etc.

Sandra treats women’s health concerns in all the different phases of a woman’s life including menstrual issues, fertility, pregnancy, post-partum, and menopausal symptoms.

She is the author of Treating Children with Chinese Dietary Therapy published in 2021 by Singing Dragon. This book goes in-depth on how to use diet to help strengthen and protect a child’s digestion, how to treat common childhood ailments with food therapy, the importance of the developing microbiome, and also includes easy nourishing recipes.

Sandra enjoys spending time with her family, reading, hiking, trail running, camping, yoga, writing, cooking, farmer’s markets, and aiming to live her life in the most yang sheng way possible.
